Matt has 19 years of recovery experience. Growing up in a 3rd generation commercial family construction company, Matt learned what it meant to build a successful business by surrounding himself with honest, hard working people with integrity. Active addiction interfered with his initial plans to continue in the family business, but he then found that life had something else in store for him. Matt’s passion to do something different and effective in the addiction industry developed over 16 years of exposure to the field.

Heather is a business professional in long term recovery who began her career helping others as a speech language pathologist in school systems and healthcare. She transitioned later on to working as licensed risk management consultant in the family business, Sinclair Risk and Financial Management, specializing in assisting addiction treatment and sober living companies create comprehensive insurance programs. Along the way, Heather developed an additional skillset as a highly experienced substance use disorder recovery coach at Sinclair Recovery where she has been a guiding force helping struggling people successfully integrate back into their lives while embracing the benefits of a healthy, sober lifestyle. Her passion to inspire others find lasting recovery has resulted in several public speaking engagements and additional outreach through her own social media platform, Recovery Warrior. She believes one of her strongest assets is bringing light to others where there was once darkness and loss of hope. Heather is a mother of 3 teenage boys and resides in Madison, CT.

Tim Hartman is a Senior Specialist with Asset Recon for Charles Schwab in Denver, CO. With close to 2 decades of mutual fund operations experience, Tim is constantly working to improve mutual fund operations in order to better serve the client. Tim holds a master’s degree in business finance and accounting from Regis University. In his spare time Tim enjoys spending time with his son in great outdoors of Colorado. Serving on the board of the IHAT Institute is important to Tim because he has seen firsthand how addiction can affect family and friends. Tim would very much like to be a part of helping to improve the treatment of addiction as well as access to that treatment.

Jennel Fontanelle embraces servant-leadership as well as a thoughtful approach to day-to-day operational management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. She is responsible for overseeing the administration, programmatic, and strategic planning of the IHAT Institute. She is a dynamic, mission-driven leader who is passionate about leading hands-on operations, fostering growth, as well as developing and shaping the industry. She is steeped in experience with the IHAT model of care and is a licensed clinical professional. She is an agent of change and is highly regarded in the industry.
